David, also known as Scrub, is not happy about leaving his Florida home to stay with his Grandmother for summer vacation in Washington state. The fact that she runs some weirdo Intergalactic Bed and Breakfast does not help either. Having some extra help from David is a welcome relief for his grandmother, and feeling needed is a nice change of pace for him especially compared to his neglectful parents. As Scrub slowly warms up to his loveable Grandmother he also begins to learn more about the comings and goings of the B&B. These strange "guests" seem to really be from another planet.
