Making Mistakes on Purpose

Title: Making Mistakes on Purpose, Sequel to Ms. Rapscott's Girls

Author: Elise Primavera

Published: 2016

Pages: 354

Last month while we were on Spring Break, we had a severe thunderstorm roll through, and that morning I had just read in the book..."The girls woke to a cold, dark morning, grim with rain and thunder."

Our storm flooded the carport and we even had a power outage...Ms. Rapscott would have been thrilled!

When Ms. Rapscott's girls come back for another school term, they will be learning how to get to the Top.  But of course Ms. Rapscott will take them to the Bottom first so they can appreciate it more...."in order to go far in life you have to get used to disappointment."

Ms. Rapscott yanked on her raincoat and grabbed her backpack.

"But it's sunny today."  Annabelle couldn't understand why they'd be needing raincoats.

Ms. Rapscott paid no attention to Annabelle and flung open the door to march outside.  The girls wiggled into their raincoats and backpacks.  They scrambled after the curious teacher just to see what she would do next.

Along with disappointment, the girls have to learn how to climb a tree, build a fort and toast a marshmallow.  They have very busy parents you see, so they weren't taught these things.

To say that I am very thankful for stumbling into the world of Elise Primavera would be quite an understatement.  This author really has a pulse on humor, adventure, and holding the reader's attention.

I hope you won't be too busy to check this one out!

xoxo,
Kelly
