Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library

Title: Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library

Author: Chris Grabenstein

Published: 2013

Pages: 289

The main character Kyle Keeley might not be the bookish type yet, but he'll soon learn that reading books and exploring the new library in town can be quite the adventure, especially when the library was designed by the famous game designer Mr. Lemoncello!  Winning a coveted spot with the other eleven students and getting to spend the night at the library's pre-opening lock-in is just the beginning.  As the real game begins, the solution to the puzzle will be finding a way out of the library.

Reading a book about books can be very engaging.  You feel like you need to keep reading, and then go check out all the fabulous books mentioned.  Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library really resonated with me because I recognized some of the books mentioned.  One of them is Unreal! by Paul Jennings which I did a review for on my other blog here.  It is also a lot of fun to catch Mr. Lemoncello's quirky little references such as, "your uncle Jimmy is a very, very busy man.  Reminds me of a spider I once knew."

Ride along on this reading escapade and see if you can solve the puzzle.  Don't forget to check out the very last puzzle too!

xoxo,
Kelly
