If it is possible to write a book about a little girl who falls in love with a squirrel, then this is it. It all starts out with Flora's next door neighbor who accidently vacuums up the squirrel with her new indoor/outdoor Ulysses vacuum cleaner. When Flora is able to resuscitate the poor little thing, the real adventures begin.
Of course it's not easy to sneak a squirrel into the house. Her romance novel writing mother who never has time for Flora, suddenly has a lot to say to her which basically amounts to her not wanting a squirrel in her house. Flora's father, "George Buckman, how do you do?" isn't agreeable to keeping the squirrel (who is now named Ulysses) around either.
Make sure you pick up this sweetheart of a book...just in time for Valentine's Day too! : )

Kelly
