If I were organized and energetic enough to come up with a top five favorites list, this book would be at the top. Julie Berry really came up with a delicious mystery in The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place.
When the headmistress and her brother suddenly die (at the Sunday dinner table no less), the girls of St. Etheldreda's School for Young Ladies really have a delima on their hands...where to hide the bodies. OK, so perhaps their headmistress Mrs. Plackett wasn't thought of all that well by her pupils! The young girls with names like...Smooth Kitty, Dour Elinor, Pocked Louise, and Disgraceful Mary Jane, seem to be up for the challenge though.
Reading this book, I began to feel like I was attending a nightly slumber party and I really enjoyed getting to know these formidable young girls turned deceptive criminals. Be sure to check out The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place, just released in September of 2014. If they ever make a movie, I would definitely want to see it!

Kelly
