This adorable squirrel adventure was a fun and quick read. When Jip cries "wolf" one too many times and then eventually cries "hawk," none of the other squirrels pay attention. Jeb gets snatched up by the hawk, but he is eventually able to get himself free thanks to his disciplined practice of Hai Tchree.
The squirrels live in a part of the forest that turns out to be along the "buzz paths." When people come along with loud machines to cut down the trees (trim back branches near the power lines), this particular group of squirrels has to move quickly.
The author, Perkins, really knows her stuff when it comes to squirrels. Ride along on this fast-passed adventure to find out what happens!

This sounds like a book with an interesting twist -- I'm not sure I've ever read a book from a squirrel's perspective before!
